email from February 20, 2023
Hey everyone!
This was super good week this week, but I am not at a computer to write my email this week, so I’m going to try to keep it shorter today haha.
Last Monday, we stayed up in Gray because we had district council on Tuesday, and we wanted to save time in the morning instead of driving for an hour, it was less than 10 haha.
Tuesday, we had ZLC in the morning and then district council after lunch. Then we started exchanges. I stayed in the Gray area (yes there is a city in Georgia with the name of a color lol) and I was with Elder Lind. We had a super awesome exchange!
Wednesday, we finished the exchange strong and then went to the chruch to teach Self relia ce, but once again no one showed up lol. Maybe some day peeps will show up ?.
Thursday, we had a good weekly planning session! That was pretty much it.
Friday, we had some good lessons and some good finding! We were able to find new people to teach!!
Saturday didn’t go at all as planned, but we were still able to have some really good lessons with some peeps!!
Sunday, we had two of our friends come to church and then we had a super fun linger longer pot luck, that was pretty fantastic!!
For a spiritual thought today, I want to talk about the Perfect Example of Jesus Christ :). As we follow His example and as we strive to become more like Him, we will be able to find happiness and choose to by happy. There was a talk that we listen to today that reminded me of the power that comes from the Symbolism in the Gospel. It is our choice that we can make to turn to the Savior, because as that relationship increases, we can do all things :).
